TUT and DUT Unite to Shape Resilient Futures Through Intelligence and Innovation

The Department of Business and Information Management Services at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and the Department of Information and Corporate Management at Durban University of Technology (DUT) are proud to jointly host the 2nd Biennial Interdisciplinary Conference on 8-9 October 2026.
The gathering will bring together researchers, postgraduate students, entrepreneurs, innovators and change-makers from the Business and Information Management fields to explore how intelligence, innovation and interdisciplinary thinking can shape resilient and smart futures.
Dr Godfrey Maake, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business and Information Management Services at the Faculty of Management Sciences, TUT, underscored the importance of the event:
“This conference provides a critical platform for scholars, practitioners and emerging innovators to engage with the complex challenges facing organisations and society. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue around intelligence and innovation, we are equipping participants with the insights needed to build more resilient, adaptive and future-ready institutions.
