“Nothing much, just three cum laude graduates in one frame.” For Goitseona Modisane, Motea Magoro and Ampfarisaho Mudau, these words capture more than a graduation photograph. They celebrate a journey of hard work, friendship and shared academic success at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

ICT-graduates Goitseona Modisane,Motea Magoro and Ampfarisaho Mudau The trio, who proudly call themselves the Dream Team, graduated with a Diploma in Informatics during the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Spring Graduation, each achieving a cum laude distinction.

Their success reflects a journey shaped by dedication, collaboration and active participation in university life. Beyond their academic commitments, the three graduates participated in the Faculty of ICT's mentorship programme and served as peer educators through the Directorate of Health and Wellness. These experiences allowed them to contribute to student development while pursuing their own academic goals.

The open computer laboratories also played a part in their academic journey, providing a space where they studied and worked towards their qualifications. Through their commitment and shared determination, they made the most of the resources available to them, supporting one another along the way.

Their story highlights the value of peer support and student engagement in the university experience. While each graduate earned their distinction individually, their shared journey demonstrates how friendship, encouragement and a common goal can make the academic experience meaningful.

As they celebrate this important milestone, the Dream Team’s achievement serves as an inspiration to fellow students in the Faculty of ICT. Their graduation is not only a celebration of academic excellence but also a reflection of the opportunities students can embrace beyond the classroom.
