Innovation bootcamp gives students tools to build future businesses
Driven by its commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation, the Tshwane University of Technology’s (TUT) Innovation and Technology Transfer Office hosted an intensive bootcamp to equip student innovators with the skills to transform research and ideas into viable business opportunities. The programme focused on cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and sharpening participants’ ability to present fundable concepts to potential partners, investors and stakeholders.
TUT attains its 17th Research Chair
The Tshwane University of Technology has been awarded a new Research Chair under the prestigious South African Research Chairs Initiative (SARChI), which is founded and funded by the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) and administered by the National Research Foundation (NRF).
